On January 30th, Yang Ping, Chairperson of the College Board, Yang Jie, College President, and Wang Zhongze, Dean of Continuing Education and International Cooperation Exchange College, led a delegation to Beijing for in-depth negotiations with the Belt and Road International Cooperation Development Working Committee. Cui Yaozu, Executive Director of the Committee, received and negotiated with our college leaders. Both sides reached consensus on core issues including industry-education-research base construction, technology and financial cooperation, and talent cultivation exchange. They will join hands to promote the implementation of multiple cooperation projects, with the negotiation results injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of our college's international education.

During the negotiations, Chairperson Yang Ping briefly introduced the four-stage development achievements of our college's international education. Starting from international student cultivation and dispatch, the college has evolved into the nation's largest overseas skilled talent dispatch base, sending over 3,000 personnel annually to destinations including Japan and Germany. The college has also established an international education sharing platform, building credit mutual recognition models with multiple overseas countries, launching Mozi Workshops in Cambodia and India, and co-building the China-Cambodia Digital Economy College and China-US Industry College to complete its overseas education layout. The college is currently advancing the fourth-stage initiative, incorporating "X+X" overseas education into unified enrollment plans, recruiting international students from Belt and Road countries for Chinese language plus skills training, cooperating with enterprises to provide targeted training for Thai and Russian students to serve Chinese-funded overseas enterprises, and planning to establish a Belt and Road Research Institute overseas to vigorously promote the internationalization of vocational education.

Executive Director Cui Yaozu spoke highly of our college's fruitful achievements and innovative practices in international vocational education. He pointed out that the core tasks of our college's fourth-stage international education are highly aligned with the work direction of the Belt and Road International Cooperation Development Working Committee. Both sides reached multiple cooperation consensuses on this basis. Going forward, they will jointly promote the construction of the Belt and Road Industry-Education-Research International Cooperation Innovation Base (Liaoning) and the Belt and Road Technology and Finance Industry International Cooperation Innovation Base, building cooperation platforms integrating talent cultivation, technology research and development, and industry incubation. They will also deepen cooperation in building the Belt and Road Human Resource Bank and related areas, jointly creating a new pattern of win-win cooperation.

The conclusion of this strategic cooperation marks a significant step for our college in deepening industry-education integration and advancing international education. Our college will seize this opportunity to fully leverage its vocational education resource advantages, achieve resource sharing and complementary strengths with the Belt and Road International Cooperation Development Working Committee in talent cultivation, industrial cooperation, and international exchange, thereby contributing to the national Belt and Road Initiative.
