Overview

Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology is a full-time higher vocational institution approved by the Liaoning Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. The college is affiliated with Xinyang Shengye International Education Holdings (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Established in 2005, the college currently operates two campuses—Daheishi and Qidingshan—with a combined capacity of over 20,000 students and a faculty and staff of more than 1,000. Presently, the college offers more than 40 majors in high demand and popular fields.
The Qidingshan Campus, located in Dalian Jinpu New Area—China's tenth national economic development zone—serves as the core engine of the college's strategic development. It is accelerating its progress in accordance with the "Four-Step" construction plan. Phase I, covering 170 acres with 117,000 square meters of modern intelligent buildings, was completed and put into operation in September 2024. Phase II is currently under construction. Phase III will focus on the Changdao Project, spanning 1,300 acres, which will feature an emergency experience center and an entertainment and wellness base, creating an innovative development model integrating "industry-education integration with wellness tourism."
Guided by the core principles of digitalization, intelligence, and informatization, the Qidingshan Campus utilizes an IoT perception system to build a fully interconnected smart foundation. Leveraging 5G-enabled smart classrooms, it creates immersive educational environments. Simultaneously, the campus is establishing a national-level study and practice demonstration base. As the nation's first vocational education park themed around industry colleges, it has partnered with ministries such as the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as leading enterprises, to co-build industry colleges. This has formed a vocational education ecosystem integrating talent cultivation, technology research and development, and social services, dedicated to becoming a national model and benchmark for reform and innovation in vocational education.
