Learning from Each Other: Guangzhou Vocational University Visits for Strategic Exchange

On the afternoon of January 28, 2026, Zhou Xiaotie, Vice President of Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University of Science and Technology, led a delegation including Luo Yanfang, Deputy Section Chief of the Finance Department, and Fang Ziwen, staff member, to visit the Qidingshan Campus of Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology. The delegation conducted in-depth exchanges on topics including industry-education integration models, international education pathways, and characteristic professional program development. Ailisi, Vice President of the College and General Manager of Xinyang Shengye Group, and Gao Hongyin, Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College and Deputy General Manager of Xinyang Shengye Group, warmly received the guests. Both sides used mutual learning as a bond to jointly blueprint new horizons for high-quality vocational education development.

Vice President Zhou and his delegation successively visited the college's Party History Exhibition Hall, various professional training laboratories, Dalian Special Operation Examination Center, AI teaching equipment hall, and China Vocational Education Association exhibition hall, gaining in-depth understanding of the college's practical achievements in industry-education integration and international education.

Subsequently, the delegation visited the college's Silver Age Innovation Society and University for the Elderly and held a symposium. At the meeting, Vice President Zhou Xiaotie expressed gratitude for the college's warm reception and generous sharing of experience. He stated that this exchange aimed to broaden educational horizons and deepen educational and teaching reforms, and that the forward-looking practices of Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology provided valuable reference for Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University of Science and Technology. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on industry-education integration projects, international curriculum system development, and "dual-qualified" teaching team construction, unanimously agreeing that vocational education should closely align with industrial needs and jointly explore innovative development paths through resource sharing and complementary advantages.
