From March 27 to 28, the 2025-2026 Third Quarterly Meeting of the New Professional Education Cooperation (NPEC) was held in Beijing. Officially Joining NPEC
On March 27, the NPEC closed-door meeting was convened, focusing on topics such as the construction of model colleges for industry-education integration, enhancement of vocational education internationalization capabilities, research on intelligent manufacturing talent demands, and establishment of resource sharing mechanisms. Participating institutions presented mid-term achievement reports and conducted in-depth discussions on new pathways for industry-education integration. At the conclusion of the meeting, the council reviewed proposals for new member institutions. Our college, as one of the seven recommended institutions, was unanimously approved and officially became a member of NPEC. This membership marks an important step for the college in deepening industry-education integration and promoting the internationalization of vocational education, building a higher-level platform for connecting with national high-quality educational resources, expanding the boundaries of school-enterprise cooperation, and enhancing talent cultivation quality.

Thematic Symposium and Enterprise Visit
On March 28, a thematic symposium titled "Intelligent Chip Manufacturing, Cultivating the Future —— Industry-Education Integration Seminar on Semiconductor Intelligent Manufacturing" was held. Experts and scholars from the National Industry Vocational Education Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, universities, and enterprises shared insights on topics such as constructing industry-education integration ecosystems, building international vocational education brands, and cultivating intelligent manufacturing talents, providing practical ideas for vocational education serving the semiconductor industry development. Following the meeting, delegates visited Leju Tongyan (Beijing) Robot Technology Co., Ltd., where under expert guidance, they gained in-depth understanding of cutting-edge embodied intelligent robot technologies, visited real application scenarios, and participated in interactive workshops, gaining direct experience of the technical and skilled talent demands in the intelligent manufacturing industry. This visit accumulated valuable practical experience for our college's relevant major construction and industry-education integration project implementation.
Future Outlook
This membership in NPEC has brought broader cooperation platforms and development opportunities to our college. In the future, our college will actively participate in various NPEC activities, deepen industry-education integration and the convergence of science and education, strengthen collaborative innovation in professional cluster construction, curriculum development, faculty cultivation, and international exchanges, cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional industrial development, and contribute Maple Leaf strength to the new model of industry-education integration with Chinese characteristics in vocational education.
