To deepen China-Malaysia vocational education exchanges and allow overseas students to personally experience the charm and cultural heritage of Chinese cities, from April 3 to 5, the Smart City Service Industry College carefully organized students from the Malaysian Vocational Education and Training Committee to conduct a three-day Dalian urban culture research and study activity. The students explored Dalian's mountain and sea scenery and historical sites through immersive City walk roaming, bringing a perfect conclusion to the specialized study on Alzheimer's disease treatment and rehabilitation conducted at our university.

This research and study itinerary was carefully planned, combining historical culture with natural landscapes, allowing students to comprehensively appreciate Dalian's characteristics. On the first day, students visited Lüshunkou District to personally experience the profound heritage of "one Lüshunkou, half of modern Chinese history," learning about China's modern development process through historical relics and feeling the city's historical accumulation and temporal changes. On the second day, students visited Xinghai Square, Binhai Road, and Fujiazhuang Beach, strolling along the romantic coastline to experience the coastal charm of the seaside city; they then ascended the Lianhua Mountain Viewing Platform to take in the magnificent scenery of the Xinghai sea area, and in the evening walked through Donggang Venice Water City to experience Dalian's unique European romance and urban vitality. On the third day, students went to Jinshitan to visit the Ten-Mile Golden Coast Scenic Area, where fine sandy beaches and azure seas complemented each other, followed by a visit to the Geological Park to explore peculiar geological landforms and experience nature's extraordinary craftsmanship.

During the itinerary, the college also specially arranged characteristic food experiences, including authentic flavors such as Xijiade Dumplings, Korean-style Micun Mixed Rice, and claypot rice noodles, allowing students to experience the diversity and vitality of Chinese food culture while tasting these delicacies, further bridging the distance with Chinese culture.

This Dalian research and study journey not only allowed Malaysian students to appreciate Dalian's natural scenery and cultural charm but also gave them a new and profound understanding of China's urban development and historical culture. The college stated that this activity is a vivid practice of China-Malaysia vocational education exchange, wishing the students fruitful gains in their specialized study of Alzheimer's disease treatment and rehabilitation, and looking forward to continuously deepening international vocational education cooperation, building more exchange bridges, and promoting the collaborative development of Chinese and foreign vocational education.
