On April 26, the final round of the 2nd Liaoning China Vocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, themed "Vocational Education Cultivates Craftsmen, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Builds Dreams," successfully concluded at Qidingshan Campus of our college. The competition was hosted by Liaoning China Vocational Education Association and organized by Dalian China Vocational Education Association and Dalian Maple Leaf Vocational and Technical College. This competition gathered 113 innovative projects from 35 vocational colleges across the province, covering multiple fields such as artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, intangible cultural heritage inheritance, and rural revitalization. This is both an important practice for Liaoning China Vocational Education Association to assist in cultivating new quality productive forces and serve the comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning in the new era, and a concentrated display of the achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education in vocational colleges across our province.

As the organizer of this competition, our college attached great importance to the preparation work, specially establishing a competition preparation leading group to coordinate competition organization, venue arrangement, logistical support, security, and other tasks. Multiple preparation work promotion meetings were held to refine work plans and clarify division of responsibilities, ensuring seamless connection and efficient advancement of all competition segments. Various departments of the college cooperated closely and worked in synergy. From competition process optimization, review organization and arrangement, to participant reception and logistical service support, every detail was refined to the utmost, making every effort to build a high-quality and convenient competition and exchange platform for participants, judges, and guests, fully demonstrating the college's sense of responsibility and commitment, and receiving high recognition and praise from superior departments, judges, and participating teachers and students.

At the opening ceremony, the atmosphere was solemn and enthusiastic. The event was presided over by Eilis, Vice President of Dalian Maple Leaf Vocational and Technical College. On behalf of the college, he extended a warm welcome to the leaders, judges, participating students, and teacher and student representatives present, and wished the competition complete success.
Subsequently, Gao Chenglin, Vice President of Dalian Maple Leaf Vocational and Technical College, took the stage to announce the competition rules of this competition. He clearly clarified the competition process, evaluation standards, and matters needing attention in detail, laying a solid foundation for the smooth development of the competition and enabling all participating students to clearly grasp the competition requirements, ensuring an orderly and efficient competition process.

Demonstrating the Demeanor of Vocational Education Students
This competition set up three competition groups: secondary vocational group, higher vocational group, and undergraduate group. After layers of selection through school competitions and online preliminary evaluations, 31 high-quality projects from 25 vocational colleges across the province advanced to the on-site final round. On the competition stage, each participating team competed on the same stage and fully displayed their demeanor, fully demonstrating the fruitful achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Liaoning vocational colleges and the uplifting youthful spirit of young students.
At the final competition site, participating students were in high spirits and calm and confident. Through project roadshows, on-site defense, and other segments, they comprehensively demonstrated the core advantages and innovation highlights of their projects. The judging panel, adhering to the principles of fairness, impartiality, and transparency, conducted detailed evaluations and precise comments from dimensions such as project innovation, commercial viability, team collaboration, and educational leadership, affirming strengths while pointing out shortcomings, providing valuable guidance for the optimization and improvement of participating projects and helping students steadily advance on the path of innovation and entrepreneurship.
During the competition, the organizing committee organized all participating teachers and students to visit the History Museum of the China Vocational Education Association. The museum has a building area of 1,300 square meters and is currently the largest theme exhibition hall of the China Vocational Education Association in the country. Relying on this united front practice teaching base to carry out on-site teaching further deepened the participating teachers and students' understanding of the united front and built ideological consensus.

Dalian has a solid industrial foundation, complete industrial categories, and a comprehensive system, providing broad space for the development of vocational education. After the speeches, Zhao Chen, Chief Judge of the competition, solemnly announced the final evaluation results of this competition. After a day of fierce competition, the competition ultimately selected 3 first prizes, 12 second prizes, and 16 third prizes, fully demonstrating the comprehensive quality and youthful spirit of the participating students.
