To continuously advance the development of "big ideological and political courses" and organically integrate the small ideological and political classroom with the large social classroom, the School of Marxism organized students to simultaneously launch the themed practical course "Card-Based Green Protection Volunteer Service" at both the Dahaishi Campus and the Qidingshan Campus. The course moved the classroom for the "Introduction to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" out of the classroom and to the frontline of campus greenery, creating a tangible "mobile ideological and political course" in a real-world setting.

Under the guidance of ideological and political course teachers, students hand-created green protection-themed cards. They designed flower and plant patterns and wrote green protection slogans on the front, and solemnly penned personal green protection commitments on the back. Conveying ideas through writing and nurturing talents through the environment, every stroke transformed the core essence of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization from classroom theory into a tangible action declaration. On campus, slogans such as "Every flower and grass has life; every word and deed reflects civilization" have become students' internalized moral consciousness.

Upon completing the cards, students left the classroom to post their handmade cards on campus green belts, while simultaneously carrying out labor practices such as cleaning up garbage around plants and watering and maintaining greenery. From the commitments on the cards to on-site practical actions, from the classroom to the campus, from theory to hands-on practice. Through the complete process of making, posting, and maintaining by themselves, students deeply understood the ecological civilization concept of "harmony between humanity and nature"and grasped the contemporary responsibility of "everyone is responsible for and can contribute to ecological civilization construction".

This practical course marks another innovative measure by the School of Marxism to deepen the construction of "big ideological and political courses" and explore the teaching form of "mobile ideological and political courses". Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the school organically integrates theoretical teaching with practical understanding, addresses the grand theme of ecological civilization through small cards, and demonstrates the great responsibility of young people through micro-actions. Moving forward, the School of Marxism will continue to expand the venues for practical teaching, promote more ideological and political classes out of classrooms and into real sites, and enable ideological and political education to be continuously deepened and effectively implemented through hands-on practice.
