Recently, our college received a letter of commendation from Harbin Road Police Station of Dalian Public Security Bureau Economic and Technological Development Zone Branch , solemnly praising and sincerely thanking our college student Zheng Kai for his righteous act of acting bravely for a just cause in assisting police law enforcement. The letter also gave high recognition and full affirmation to our college's educational effectiveness in steadfastly adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education.

The letter of commendation mentioned that on the afternoon of January 2, 2026, at Ansheng Shopping Plaza in Dalian Development Zone, when an off-duty police officer was pursuing a suspect in violation of the law, student Zheng Kai actively extended a helping hand, unhesitatingly stepped forward, and actively assisted the police officer in successfully controlling the suspect, providing critical support for the smooth handling of the case. At the critical moment, Zheng Kai was not afraid of danger and bravely upheld justice, practicing the responsibility and mission of the new-era youth through practical actions, demonstrating the noble moral sentiments and strong sense of social responsibility of contemporary college students.
