On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army Navy, to thoroughly implement patriotism education and guide young students to cultivate deep family-country sentiments and temper fine conduct, on April 23, the School of Safety Emergency Management and Cryptographic Industry, the Intelligent Manufacturing Future College, and the Qidingshan Student Affairs Department organized faculty and student representatives to visit Dalian Naval Academy for a themed study activity, experiencing up close the glorious history of the People's Navy and the high-spirited demeanor of naval academy students. Li Mingchen, Vice Dean for Student Management of the School of Safety Emergency Management and Cryptographic Industry, Counselor Li Yang, and Niu Baitong, Student Affairs Officer of the Intelligent Manufacturing Future College, led the team to participate in this activity.

At the beginning of the event, all faculty and students gathered on the playground to jointly witness the solemn flag-raising ceremony. Accompanied by the majestic national anthem, the five-starred red flag rose slowly. The faculty and students present stood solemnly and watched attentively, their hearts filled with reverence and pride. Subsequently, the naval military band played stirring music; the powerful and forceful melody conveyed the mission and responsibility of naval officers and soldiers, and rounds of applause erupted at the scene. The faculty and students also listened to the messages from outstanding graduate ship captain representatives of the academy. They affectionately reviewed their military careers, sent 77th anniversary birthday wishes to the People's Navy, and made firm vows to strengthen the military and guard the maritime territory, deeply moving the students present.

Under the guidance of academy cadets, the faculty and students experienced the strict discipline and conduct of the military academy firsthand. The uniformly aligned formations and the uplifting mental outlook demonstrated the solid competence of naval cadets in the new era; entering the cadets' dormitories, the standardized and neat quarters and the sharply creased "tofu-block" quilts allowed the students to intuitively appreciate the military academy's discipline of "conduct seen in details, cultivation shown in every drop," and they repeatedly praised the cadets' high standards and strict requirements.

Subsequently, the faculty and students entered the History Museum of Dalian Naval Academy. Under the detailed introduction of the docent, they gained a comprehensive understanding of the glorious educational history of this "cradle of naval officers." From the difficult exploration during the initial founding period of the People's Navy to the journey of striving for maritime strength in the new era, precious historical materials, historical photographs, and heroic deeds vividly reproduced the striving footprints of generations of naval officers and soldiers who were loyal to their mission and courageously forged ahead. This allowed the faculty and students to profoundly comprehend the magnificent journey of the People's Navy from nothing to something and from weakness to strength. They also visited the teaching buildings and campus thematic exhibitions, experiencing up close the rigorous academic atmosphere and strong military culture of the naval academy.

This study visit was a vivid and fresh practical lesson in patriotism education and conduct cultivation. Faculty and students expressed that they would take naval officers and soldiers as role models, integrating strict discipline, solid conduct, and patriotic sentiments into daily study and life, firming up their ideals and convictions, tempering their will and character, striving to grow into new-era talents capable of shouldering the great task of national rejuvenation, and contributing youthful strength to the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation through practical actions.
