On May 18, Cui Xingjian, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education at the Tsinghua University Art and Science Center Base , and Lu Jinzhu, Research Assistant at the Center for Media Economy and Management, School of Journalism and Communication, Tsinghua University, were invited to visit our college for a return visit and inspection. Previously, college leadership had visited Tsinghua University multiple times, reaching high consensus on promoting strategic cooperation in AI industrial ecosystem and talent cultivation, embodied intelligence, and innovation-entrepreneurship incubation. This visit by the two Tsinghua experts reflects the high recognition from a top-tier university of our college's educational philosophy and development potential, and also marks that both sides' cooperation has entered the substantive interaction stage. Eilis, Group General Manager and Vice President of the college, and Xue Fei, Director of the Brand Development Department, received the guests throughout and participated in exchanges.
In the morning, the visiting experts successively visited our college's Daheishi Campus. At the Nursing Industry College, modern teaching methods — including the virtual simulation training system and intelligent nursing simulator — left a deep impression on both experts. At the Smart City Service Industry College, the approach of closely connecting curriculum design with industrial demands and authentically restoring service front lines in practical training scenarios won repeated praise. Subsequently, the expert delegation came to the School of Continuing Education and International Cooperation and Exchange, where the diversification of the international education model demonstrated the college's open and inclusive education landscape.
In the afternoon, the expert team continued their inspection at Qidingshan Campus. The distinctive educational characteristics of each industry college of the college made the two teachers exclaim: "Vocational education today is no longer the 'one technical skill' of traditional impressions, but has achieved deep integration of industry and education, synchronization with cutting-edge technology, and precise alignment of talent with industrial upgrading demands." At the History Museum of the China Vocational Education Association, the profound century-long history of vocational education and the college's practical achievements in inheriting Huang Yanpei's vocational education thought made the experts repeatedly give thumbs up, sincerely admiring the college's cultural heritage, vocational education sentiments, and sense of mission. In addition, the experts also visited the working site of the college's data annotation base, gaining an in-depth understanding of the operation of industry-education integration practical training projects such as data annotation and AI basic data processing.
This inspection, building on previous cooperation consensus, further expanded multiple dimensions of cooperation alignment between both sides. First, they focused on discussing the cutting-edge direction of "AI + short drama", and extended from this core to the full-chain layout of the AI industrial ecosystem — from data annotation, algorithm application to industry solutions. Combining Tsinghua University's R&D advantages in artificial intelligence with our college's resources in content production and industrial practical training, they jointly explored cooperation in AI-assisted short drama creation, intelligent editing, data-driven script development, and AI industrial ecosystem construction. Second, around the field of embodied intelligence, they cooperatively developed practical courses and teaching resources applicable to vocational education. Third, they promoted the Nursing Industry College to connect with internationally high-level institutions, introducing international nursing certification and joint training programs. Fourth, leveraging Tsinghua University's creative resources, they jointly carried out the planning and incubation of various cultural and technological IPs.
Next, both sides will rapidly initiate a work docking mechanism, itemize the cooperation list, clarify time nodes and division of responsibilities, and transform the "ideas" from discussions into implementable "plans," advancing steadily in phases. This return visit not only consolidated the strategic mutual trust between Tsinghua and our college but also set a new model for in-depth cooperation between vocational education and top-tier universities in AI and industry-education integration.
