On May 13, our college organized teaching deans and professional teachers to carry out a thematic seminar on vocational education reform and development by sub-themes. The seminar focused on core content such as the "New Double High" construction of vocational education, talent cultivation model reform, professional curriculum system optimization, and practical teaching innovation. It summarized teaching experience, analyzed development shortcomings, and clarified reform directions, further clarifying the reform thinking of vocational education and laying a solid theoretical and practical foundation for improving the quality of talent cultivation.

Wu Lijie, Dean of the China-Thailand Humanities and Social Sciences Advanced Research Institute of Rajamangala University of Technology, and Liu Haoming, Commissioner of the Beijing Office of Rajamangala University of Technology, visited our college's Daheishi Campus to conduct on-site visits and professional exchanges. On May 11, our college invited Ding Xujia, an expert in school-enterprise cooperation and human resources from JD Group, to share around "School-Enterprise Collaborative Ecosystem Construction and Youth Talent Development." On May 15, the Party Branch of the Intelligent Manufacturing Future College organized students to carry out an off-campus study activity at Dalian Haier Refrigerator Manufacturing Center. At the study site, teachers and students visited the entire intelligent production process. The "Drone + Unmanned Vehicle" intelligent inspection system jointly developed by our college's Low-Altitude Economy Industry College has been successfully applied in Dalian traffic management, achieving 24-hour unmanned autonomous patrol and control, effectively improving traffic inspection efficiency and intelligentization levels. Application of "Drone + Unmanned Vehicle" Intelligent Inspection System
During the Vocational Education Activity Week, our college organized teachers and students of the drone application technology major to enter surrounding cherry orchards to carry out practical training in drone agricultural plant protection pesticide spraying. Teachers and students skillfully operated agricultural plant protection drones to carry out full-coverage, precise pesticide spraying operations on cherry orchards. Relying on the advantages of efficient drone operations, uniform spraying, and labor saving, they effectively reduced burdens and increased efficiency for fruit farmers, assisting the quality improvement and income growth of the local cherry characteristic industry. On May 15, nearly 400 teachers and students from the affiliated primary school of Dalian No. 80 Middle School entered Qidingshan Campus to carry out a study activity themed "Technology Empowering Study, Practice Lighting Up Childhood." To commemorate the 115th 5·12 International Nurses Day, mourn the 18th anniversary of the Wenchuan Earthquake, and inherit the original aspiration of medical practitioners and the spirit of dedication and commitment, at 10:00 a.m. on May 12, the Nursing Industry College held the themed celebration activity "Passing the Torch to Inherit Benevolence, Practicing with Dedication to Guard Youth" and the nurse capping ceremony. The activity opened with the solemn national anthem. Twenty-three professional teachers presented nurse caps to student representatives, and all newly minted nursing personnel solemnly swore under the leadership of the Student Union Vice President, inheriting the Nightingale spirit.
