To thoroughly implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, adhere to Party building leading talent cultivation, and promote the deep integration of professional education with clinical practice, the Nursing Industry College, with Party building as the engine and practice as the platform, organized 2024 cohort students majoring in nursing, midwifery, and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology to formally depart for the clinical front line starting from May 25, initiating centralized on-the-job internships.
Under the unified planning and strong leadership of the college Party Branch, this internship work was meticulously planned with high standards and advanced with high quality. The college precisely connected with 12 high-quality medical institutions, including Beijing Anzhen Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, Dalian Friendship Hospital, Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University, No. 967 Hospital, and No. 966 Hospital. It integrated red medical ethics education and professional competence cultivation throughout the entire internship process, transforming the advantages of Party building into tangible educational outcomes, and building a high-quality practical platform for students to connect theory with practice and apply their skills to serve the people.
Prior to the internships, the college Party Branch fully leveraged its role as a fighting fortress, meticulously formulating internship plans, strengthening ideological and political guidance and safety education, and dispatching Party member teachers to provide full-process follow-up guidance. It conveyed the professional spirit of revering life, healing the wounded and rescuing the dying, being willing to dedicate, and boundless great love, along with the red medical practitioner's original aspiration, to every student, guiding everyone to strictly demand themselves by Party member standards, clarify direction, observe bottom lines, and strengthen capabilities in practice.
After arriving at various hospitals, the students, wearing white robes and harboring faith, quickly integrated into clinical positions. They transformed classroom learning into practical abilities to serve patients, honing their character and refining their skills in nursing operations, rehabilitation guidance, and doctor-patient communication.
This clinical internship represents a vivid practice of the Nursing Industry College's "Party Building + Talent Cultivation" model.
