On June 11, the Nursing Industry College organized 2024 cohort students of the Visual Training and Rehabilitation Major to enter Dalian Huaxia Eye Hospital for an immersive clinical practice activity, practicing the practical education philosophy through real-scenario training, and focusing on enhancing students' practical skills and comprehensive professional competence.

This learning session closely aligned with the core courses "Prevention and Control of Myopia in Children and Adolescents" and "Visual Training Technology," implementing school-enterprise dual-teacher collaborative teaching by moving the classroom to the clinical front line. Students systematically learned about outpatient operations and nosocomial infection prevention and control standards, observed the full-process diagnosis and treatment work including vision screening, medical optometry, and visual function testing, and completed practical training in vision testing and optometry in groups, becoming familiar with the usage methods of various visual rehabilitation devices. Hospital experts, combining real cases, explained visual function assessment, training procedures, and operational risk prevention and control, while simultaneously conducting professional ethics education, comprehensively honing students' position skills.

This practical teaching promoted the deep integration of theory and practice, effectively solidifying students' professional foundation and strengthening their sense of professional identity. The college will continuously deepen industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, make good use of off-campus practical teaching bases, continuously improve the collaborative education model, and fully cultivate high-quality professional talents with solid theoretical knowledge and exquisite skills.
