
On May 11, Yang Ping, Chairperson of our college, received an invitation letter from the CPC Dalian Municipal Committee, Dalian Municipal People's Government, and the 2026 Dalian Summer Davos Forum Preparation and Coordination Committee, and was invited to attend the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions (2026 Dalian Summer Davos Forum).

This annual meeting is hosted by the World Economic Forum and will be held at the Dalian International Conference Center from June 23 to June 25, 2026. Centered on the theme of "Scaling Innovation," it will feature opening and closing plenary sessions, entrepreneur dialogues, and over 200 thematic sub-forums. At that time, nearly 2,000 global leaders and innovators from the business, political, academic, social organization, and international organization sectors from around the world will gather in Dalian.
This invitation represents both the high recognition by local Party committees and governments of our college's educational achievements, educational strength, and social influence, and full affirmation of the college's deep cultivation in vocational education and its effectiveness in serving regional economic development. All along, the college has focused on optimizing professional layout according to industrial demands, deepening reforms in talent cultivation models, and concentrating on cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents, providing solid talent support for the comprehensive revitalization of Dalian and even the entire Northeast China region, with continuously improving educational reputation and industry influence.
