On June 19, the provincial competition results of the "Zhaotong Cup" 5th CMAU National Market Research and Business Planning Competition, hosted by the Chinese Marketing Association of Universities, were officially announced. Students from the Smart City Service Industry College, forming teams independently and deeply cultivating projects, won two provincial third prizes with their rigorous and detailed market research and logically complete business planning proposals. Our college was awarded the Best Institutional Organization Award. These impressive results fully demonstrate the outstanding achievements of the college's business practice education and innovation and entrepreneurship cultivation.

As an authoritative benchmark competition in the domestic business field, this year's CMAU competition covered 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, with over 515 participating institutions and 33,734 students registering to compete, collectively submitting 2,349 business planning works. The competition linked with more than 40 enterprises to release real industrial propositions, comprehensively assessing students' practical combat capabilities across dimensions including market analysis, brand marketing, and business model implementation. It serves as an important platform for testing the practical teaching quality of marketing and digital commerce majors. This year's Liaoning Provincial Competition gathered numerous undergraduate and higher vocational colleges within the province to compete on the same stage, with fierce competition placing extremely high demands on participating teams' professional competence and innovation capabilities.

The entire competition preparation process was initiated and organized independently by students from the Smart City Service Industry College. The students spontaneously formed participating teams, proactively connected with enterprise propositions, and independently completed market visits and research. Under the accompaniment of guiding teachers, they repeatedly polished their proposals and simulated defenses. The two teams respectively focused on two directions: intangible cultural heritage digitalization and AI digital talent cultivation, deeply creating their works and standing out from participating teams across the province. The college's overall competition organization work was recognized by the organizing committee, and our college was awarded the Best Institutional Organization Award.

Behind these impressive results lies the enterprising posture of the school's students in independently exploring, diligently studying, and thinking creatively. It is also a vivid embodiment of the school's education philosophy of promoting teaching through competition and promoting learning through competition. The Smart City Service Industry College encourages students to independently participate in academic competitions and independently complete project research and development, with professional teacher teams providing targeted guidance. It integrates business planning practical combat into daily professional teaching, fully mobilizing students' subjective initiative, and honing business thinking, teamwork, and innovation capabilities through practice.

Winning multiple honors in this competition serves as powerful evidence of the school's deepening industry-education integration and building a digital commerce characteristic professional cluster. In the future, the Smart City Service Industry College will continue to build high-level competition practice platforms for students, continuously improve the integrated "teaching + practical training + competition" talent cultivation system, guide students to actively engage in business innovation practice, and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents adapted to the modern service industry and digital industry development.
