
On June 23, Eilis, Vice President of our college, Xue Fei, Director of the Publicity Department, and Gao Hongyin, Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College, were invited to attend the "2026 Dalian Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Conference" held at the Dalian Furama Hotel.

This conference is an important initiative for Dalian to thoroughly implement the national "AI+" action deployment and accelerate the advancement of the strategic goal of building a "Northeast Asia AI Innovation Highland." It attracted over 150 enterprises, research institutes, and university representatives from across the country to participate, jointly exploring industrial opportunities and development directions in the AI era. The conference conducted in-depth discussions around four core topics: "AI Driving Global Future Industries," "AI Reconstructing Thousands of Industries," "AI Empowering People's Livelihood," and "Embodied Intelligence Paradigm Transformation." From macro strategy to specific implementation, it comprehensively presented the profound transformation that artificial intelligence is bringing to all fields of the economy and society. Government leaders, top industry experts, and representatives from well-known enterprises took the stage one after another, deeply analyzing the latest developments and application trends of AI technology, providing attendees with highly forward-thinking intellectual collisions and practical references.
After the conference, our college leaders conducted in-depth exchanges and docking with multiple participating enterprises, engaging in thorough discussions on topics such as industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation, and AI practical training platform construction, laying a good foundation for subsequent cooperation.
In recent years, our college has continuously advanced AI-integrated education and teaching reform, having progressively explored three development stages: AI tool-assisted teaching, AI integration into the curriculum system, and AI empowerment of college governance. This participation further strengthened our college's confidence and determination to deepen reform. The college will take this conference as an opportunity to fully launch AI education and teaching 4.0 reform, fully embrace Agent intelligent agent technology, promote the construction of a new teaching ecology featuring collaborative work between teachers and students and human-machine synergy, actively introduce digital employees to empower the management system, achieve unlimited expansion and efficiency leap of administrative capabilities, and explore a characteristic development path of "AI + Vocational Education."
