From June 21 to 27, the 2026 National Canoe Sprint Championships were held at the Liaoning Provincial Water Sports Training Base in Lüshunkou District, Dalian City. This competition was hosted by the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Canoe Association, and the Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau; organized by the Liaoning Provincial Water Sports Management Center; and executed by Dalian Qidekesheng Event Management Co., Ltd. As the support unit for this event, our college coordinated resource allocation and refined service measures, providing warm, safe, and efficient accommodation support for training and competition to participating teams from across the country with a mature and comprehensive logistics service system, fully escorting the smooth conduct of the water sports competition.
Our college possesses extensive experience in serving large-scale events. Previously, our college successfully undertook the accommodation support task for the "China Sports Lottery Cup" 2025 National Rowing Championships (Third Stop). It has also successively completed support work for the Health and Social Care event of the 14th Dalian Vocational Skills Competition, six events of the 2nd Liaoning Provincial Vocational Skills Competition, the Finals of the 9th Industrial Information Security Skills Competition Cryptography Application Security Championship, and the Finals of the 2nd Liaoning Chinese Vocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, among many others. It has established standardized and normalized service processes in areas such as food and accommodation coordination, personnel reception, safety management, and daily operations and maintenance, possessing good comprehensive support capabilities.
During this canoe sprint event support task, over 500 athletes and coaches from 17 provincial and municipal teams including Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Jilin, and Shanghai stayed at our college. To meet the rest and recuperation needs of all participants during the competition, the school specially established an event support working group, completing comprehensive maintenance and environmental disinfection of dormitory areas in advance, optimizing accommodation allocation plans, and simultaneously improving supporting services such as catering supplies, living materials, and emergency response. It meticulously handled various support tasks including living environment, safety management, and daily logistics, fully creating a quiet, comfortable, safe, and orderly rest environment for athletes and coaches, allowing all participants to shed their fatigue and devote themselves wholeheartedly to pre-competition training and on-field competition.
The thoughtful, meticulous, professional, and caring comprehensive logistical support received full affirmation and unanimous praise from the event organizing committee and participating teams from various provinces and cities. For a long time, Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology has always kept in mind the social responsibilities of higher education institutions, proactively aligning with the development needs of the city's sports undertakings, actively undertaking various national and provincial event supporting support work, and demonstrating through practical actions the responsibility and commitment of private colleges in serving local communities and giving back to society.
