To continuously deepen the collaborative education work pattern of "Party building + ideological and political education," solidly advance the high-quality construction of "grand ideological and political courses," and on the occasion of the approaching 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in accordance with the school's "2026 Implementation Plan for the 'Party Flag Leads the Path of Striving · Ideological and Political Education Forges the Soul and Cultivates Craftsmanship' July 1st Themed Party Building and Grand Ideological and Political Education Integrated Education Series Activities," on June 25, the school Party Committee organized teachers and students to enter the Lüshun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum to carry out the "Walking Ideological and Political Course" red study tour and museum-school ideological and political education co-construction signing ceremony. Wei Xiaofeng, Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Jin Xiaohui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the activity. Party member representatives from grassroots Party organizations including the School of Marxism Party Branch, Academic Affairs Party Branch, and Nursing Industry College Party Branch, as well as teacher and student active applicants for Party membership and trainees from the Youth Marxists Training Program, participated in the study tour.

During the study tour, teacher and student representatives successively visited exhibition areas including prison cells, interrogation rooms, and themed display halls. They stopped to gaze at precious historical artifacts, looked back at documentary photographic materials, and carefully studied detailed documentary archives, deeply comprehending the lofty spirit of revolutionary martyrs who remained loyal and unwavering, upheld their faith, and sacrificed their lives for righteousness.

All Party member teachers and students lined up in formation before the solemn Party flag in the museum, reviewing their oath of joining the Party, once again receiving a baptism of Party spirit, and further strengthening their noble belief in listening to the Party and following the Party.

After the visit concluded, the school Party Committee and the Lüshun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum (Dalian Institute of Modern History) held the museum-school grand ideological and political course education cooperation signing ceremony. Wei Xiaofeng, Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Jiang Chao, Director of the Lüshun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum, signed the museum-school cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

This joint co-construction is a powerful initiative by our school to promote the deep integration of Party building and ideological and political education and to innovate practical education models. Both parties will fully leverage red historical culture, museum collection education resources, and vocational education advantages. Relying on the achievements of ideological and political course construction, they will jointly build an integrated grand ideological and political education system encompassing "theoretical teaching, real-scenario practice, and immersive cultivation." They will regularly carry out a series of education activities including Party building co-construction exchanges, red culture lectures, patriotism education, and teacher and student practical training, dedicating themselves to creating a collaborative education demonstration benchmark, and continuously enhancing the appeal, attraction, and effectiveness of ideological and political education.

Moving forward, the school will continuously innovate ideological and political education models, regularly carry out immersive, experiential, and practical ideological and political education activities, continuously polish the "Maple Leaf Political Red" ideological and political education brand with distinctive recognizability, guide all Maple Leaf students to cultivate noble virtues, temper solid capabilities, and bravely shoulder the responsibilities of the era, and strive to grow into new-era high-quality technical and skilled talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics, and labor.
