The Dalian 15th Vocational Skills Competition is the city-level skills competition event with the highest specifications and widest coverage in the city. The competition benchmarks against WorldSkills Competition and National Competition standards to select excellent skilled talents, and reserves craftsmanship strength for the high-quality development of regional industries. Our college has the honor to become the official implementation and guarantee unit for three major competition events: Health and Social Care, Social Sports Guidance (Fitness), and Drone Piloting. The Continuing Education and International Cooperation Exchange College takes the lead in coordinating and undertaking all competition-related work. To run this competition with high standards and standardized procedures, on July 2, the college organized a special work promotion meeting for the competition, and carried out detailed deployment around the whole-process work including personnel division, competition schedule nodes, competition venue guarantee, player intensive training, logistics reception, and fund coordination.

At the meeting, all participants reviewed the experience in undertaking previous skills competitions at all levels, sorted out and clarified specifications for each detail including competition venue layout, referee docking, personnel deployment, result calculation, and player services for the three major competition events, required all relevant colleges to equip sufficient teacher and student volunteers, improve referee logistics support, properly preserve materials throughout the competition process, strictly adhere to the bottom line of fair competition, and prevent various violations.

President Yang Jie delivered a concluding speech and put forward three work requirements: First, polish the college's window, provide civilized and enthusiastic service by all staff, and demonstrate the campus's good demeanor; Second, implement competition preparation and intensive training, practice professional skills assiduously, and strive for competition honors with hard strength; Third, persist in promoting teaching through competition, rely on competitions to temper faculty, upgrade the practical training system, and fully demonstrate the college's vocational education reform achievements.

This meeting clarified the work standards for the whole process of the competition and unified the work ideas. In the next step, all departments and secondary colleges will benchmark against the task list, efficiently advance various preparation work including material preparation, player intensive training, and venue construction, guarantee the smooth holding of the competition with high standards and refined details, and fully demonstrate our college's vocational education school-running strength.
