On the afternoon of July 7, a delegation from the Dalian Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee Law Enforcement Inspection Team visited the Qidingshan Campus of our college to conduct an on-site law enforcement inspection on the implementation of the Employment Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China and the Liaoning Province Employment Promotion Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the "One Law and One Regulation") in our city. Yang Ping, Chairperson of our college, Yang Jie, President, and college leaders warmly received the delegation and accompanied the research throughout.
This law enforcement inspection was led by relevant leaders of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee. The composition of the inspection team covered relevant members of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, responsible comrades of various special committees, municipal people's congress deputies in relevant fields, industry experts, as well as relevant leaders such as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government and the Deputy Director of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The inspection focused on the cultivation of vocational skilled talents and the implementation effectiveness of industry-education integration.
During the research, the law enforcement inspection team successively visited two characteristic venues of our college: the Maple Leaf AI Teaching Equipment Hall and the Social History Museum of the China Vocational Education Association. In the Maple Leaf AI Teaching Equipment Hall, the inspection team immersively experienced the college's innovative practice of empowering vocational education with artificial intelligence — from intelligent interactive training systems to AI-assisted teaching platforms, from data-annotation industry-education integration projects to algorithm-application practical scenarios. A series of cutting-edge teaching equipment seamlessly connected with real industrial applications, vividly illustrating the college's vocational education philosophy of "building majors on the industry chain and setting classrooms on the production line," which won frequent praise from the inspection team members.
In the Social History Museum of the China Vocational Education Association, the profound century-long picture of vocational education history slowly unfolded. The inspection team carefully listened to the inheritance context of Huang Yanpei's vocational education thought and the college's practical achievements in implementing the vocational education spirit, and gained an in-depth understanding of the glorious course of the China Vocational Education Association in promoting the development of China's vocational education cause since its founding in 1917. Precious historical materials and historical objects allowed the inspection team members to deeply feel the college's mission and cultural heritage of adhering to the original aspiration of vocational education and promoting Huang Yanpei's lofty ideal of "enabling the jobless to have jobs and those with jobs to enjoy their work," and they sincerely praised the college's deep cultivation in the cultural inheritance of vocational education.
On behalf of the college, Chairperson Yang Ping comprehensively reported to the law enforcement inspection team the college's school-running achievements in recent years, focusing on the college's innovative measures and phased results in the construction of vocational skilled-talent cultivation systems, the in-depth advancement of school-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration, and the improvement of the employment service guarantee mechanism for graduates.
The inspection team gave a positive evaluation of our college's achievements in the implementation of the employment promotion "One Law and One Regulation," and at the same time put forward constructive guidance opinions around further deepening industry-education integration, broadening graduates' employment channels, strengthening the supply of high-skilled talents, and improving the employment quality monitoring system. They hoped that the college would continue to give play to the characteristic advantages of vocational education and serve the overall situation of Dalian's employment promotion with higher standards and more practical measures.
This law enforcement inspection is a key supervision work of the Dalian Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee in 2026, aimed at comprehensively understanding the implementation of employment promotion laws and regulations in our city, promoting the resolution of prominent problems in employment work, effectively safeguarding workers' employment rights and interests, and promoting higher-quality and fuller employment. As one of the important points of this law enforcement inspection, our college fully demonstrated the positive role of vocational colleges in serving regional economic development and promoting employment and entrepreneurship.
