On the afternoon of July 23, Du Xuedong, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Merchants Bank Dalian Branch, and Yu Wei, Secretary of the Party Branch and President of the Shahekou District Sub-branch, led a 13-person delegation to visit our Qidingshan Campus for a Party-building study tour and exchange. Yang Ping, Chair of the Board of the College, Wei Xiaofeng, Party Secretary, Yang Jie, President, and several Party committee members warmly welcomed the guests. With Party building as the bond and exchange as the opportunity, the two sides embarked on a journey of mutual learning and shared development between bank and campus.
►► On-Site Visit: Experiencing Vocational Education
Accompanied by the College leadership, the China Merchants Bank delegation toured the campus on site, visiting in turn the modern training labs, the open Party Building Hall, and the China Vocational Education Association History Museum, gaining a comprehensive, multi-dimensional appreciation of our college's educational characteristics, talent-development achievements, and campus culture.
During the visit, the China Merchants Bank delegation learned in detail about the College's development history, program offerings, industry-education integration, and future development plans. They spoke highly of our college's strength in closely aligning with industry needs and cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talent, the vivid practice of guiding moral education through Party building, and the mission of vocational education to serve the nation, society, and the all-round development of individuals.

After the visit, the two sides held a symposium. Yang Ping, Chair of the Board, expressed full recognition of China Merchants Bank's long-standing quality service, and gave a detailed introduction covering the College's basic profile, future development strategy, and potential service needs in the financial field. She said the college is at a critical stage of high-quality development, and hopes to develop deeper cooperation with China Merchants Bank in areas such as fund management, smart campus, and improving the financial literacy of faculty and students.
From the perspective of the group's and the college's development, Ellis, Vice President, systematically introduced the group's and the college's schooling philosophy, development layout, and social contributions. The China Merchants Bank side spoke highly of our college's educational achievements, and gave a detailed explanation of China Merchants Bank's package of comprehensive service solutions, covering multiple dimensions such as financial literacy education, financial services, and smart campus development. Subsequently, relevant personnel from both sides exchanged views based on their own duties and conducted in-depth discussions on specific cooperation items, in a lively and pragmatic atmosphere.

At the end of the symposium, Du Xuedong, Vice President of China Merchants Bank Dalian Branch, delivered a concluding speech. He said this visit to Maple Leaf was refreshing, giving him a brand-new understanding of and deeper feelings about higher vocational education. The college has a clear educational direction, solid program development, and close alignment with social needs, with enormous development potential that inspires great confidence. Yang Jie, President of the college, again expressed his thanks for the visit by the China Merchants Bank delegation and looked ahead to the prospects for future cooperation between the two sides.
