On the morning of July 23, Li Jingping, Chair of the Board of Shandong Vocational College of Cultural Industries, and Cao Shengqiang, President, led a delegation including Xu Yuguo, President's Assistant and Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Wang Bin, Director of the Party and Government Affairs Office, to visit the Qidingshan Campus of Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology for in-depth exchange on vocational education schooling practice and industry-education integration models. Yang Ping, Chair of the Board of our college, Yang Jie, President, Ellis, General Manager and Vice President, and other leaders warmly received the guests. With mutual learning as the bond, the two sides jointly drew a new blueprint for the high-quality development of vocational education.
On-Site Visit: Industry-Education Reality Showcases the Spirit of Vocational Education
The delegation led by Chair Li Jingping and President Cao Shengqiang visited in turn the training bases of the industry colleges at our Qidingshan Campus, observing on site the operation scenarios of real on-campus industry projects and the full-practice training centers, and gaining an in-depth understanding of our college's practical achievements in industry-education integration and internationalized schooling. During the visit, the delegation spoke highly of our college's well-equipped teaching facilities, distinctive educational positioning, and quality nurturing environment.
Symposium Exchange: Mutual Learning to Plan a New Path for Development
After the visit, the two sides held a symposium. At the meeting, Yang Ping, Chair of the Board of our college, warmly welcomed the delegation from Shandong Vocational College of Cultural Industries and systematically introduced the group-based schooling structure centered on the "Three Parties Thrive" (i.e., enterprises thrive, the college thrives, students thrive) core cultural philosophy, as well as the practical results achieved in building eight industry colleges, the AI-integrated renovation of 735 courses, and the four-stage progressive internationalization of schooling. President Cao Shengqiang thanked our college for its warm reception and unreserved sharing of experience, saying that the forward-looking practices of Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology provide valuable reference for Shandong Vocational College of Cultural Industries. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the implementation of industry-education integration projects and the optimization of school-enterprise cooperation models, and agreed that vocational education should closely follow industry needs and jointly explore innovative development paths through resource sharing and complementary strengths.
This inter-college exchange not only built a solid bridge of mutual learning among colleges, but also forged a consensus on collaborative development. Our college will take this exchange as an opportunity to continuously deepen vocational education reform, join hands with more sister institutions, jointly explore new paths and compose new chapters in areas such as industry-education integration and internationalized schooling, and contribute the "Maple Leaf" strength to the high-quality development of vocational education.
