To keep pace with the frontier of humanoid robot industry development, accurately grasp the talent needs of the intelligent manufacturing industry, and broaden the channels for school-enterprise collaborative education, on July 28 a delegation comprising Yang Ping, Chairwoman of the Board; Yang Jie, President; Gao Chenglin, Executive Vice President; Ai Lis, Vice President; Xue Fei, Director of the Publicity Department; and Gao Hongyin, Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College, visited Zhiyuan Robotics (AgiBot) for research and inspection, gaining an in-depth understanding of frontier developments in the field of embodied intelligence. Jiao Zheng, Feng Jichao, and others responsible for Zhiyuan Robotics’ education business warmly received the delegation and provided explanations throughout.
The College delegation first toured Zhiyuan Robotics’ showroom, immersively viewing a variety of intelligent robot products and experiencing frontier technological achievements up close. The robots on display could perform multiple functions such as delicate operations, talent shows, intelligent Q&A, and scenario-based services, fully demonstrating the company’s capability to deploy applications across diverse scenarios including commercial, household, and industrial settings.

During the visit, the College leaders gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s innovative layout and industrial advantages in core technology fields such as embodied intelligence, robot “brain” R&D, multimodal interaction, and motion intelligence control, and directly grasped the industry’s development trends and the direction of the company’s demand for high-quality technical and skilled talent.

In the discussion session, the two sides held in-depth talks on topics such as industry-education integration, jointly building programs, and talent cultivation. The Zhiyuan Robotics side introduced its innovative model of driving education-system construction with actual industry needs, shared its practical experience of defining training standards in reverse from industry talent demand to ensure talent cultivation stays close to front-line reality, and highlighted its trinity education philosophy of “clear training objectives, scientific training methods, and smooth talent exit pathways.” The two sides fully exchanged views on bringing enterprises into campus, jointly building an embodied-intelligence program, and importing real industry scenarios into teaching, and reached a consensus on building a collaborative education platform for “College–Zhiyuan–iSoftStone” with resource sharing and complementary advantages.

This research trip is a strategic move by the College to proactively embrace the transformation of the embodied-intelligence industry and seize the development opportunities of new quality productive forces. Taking this visit as an opportunity, the College will transform the enterprise’s frontier technological advantages into a source of vitality for program development, deeply integrate real industry scenarios into the entire talent cultivation process, and strive to build a new collaborative-education ecosystem with “College–Zhiyuan–iSoftStone” tripartite linkage, resource sharing, and complementary advantages, so as to supply more high-quality technical and skilled talent for serving the upgrading of the regional intelligent-manufacturing industry.
