On July 28, a six-person delegation comprising Yang Ping, Chairwoman of the Board; Yang Jie, President; Gao Chenglin, Executive Vice President; Ai Lis, Vice President; Xue Fei, Director of the Publicity Department; and Gao Hongyin, Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College, went to iSoftStone Group’s Shanghai branch to attend the unveiling ceremony of the iSoftStone Digital-Intelligent Industry College. Lin Tao, CEO of iSoftStone Education; Li Jia, General Manager of the Strategic Clients Department; Luo Ying, Key Account Director of Software Education; and others warmly received the College leadership.
The College leaders first toured the iSoftStone exhibition hall, gaining a detailed understanding of iSoftStone’s industry standing, technical strength, and industrial development layout in the field of information technology services, and an intuitive grasp of iSoftStone’s practical achievements in deepening digital technology services and promoting industrial digital transformation.
In the exchange and discussion session, Lin Tao extended a warm welcome to the College leadership. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on topics such as industry-college construction, innovation in talent cultivation models, and deep integration of industry and education, and reached multiple consensuses:
First, expand students’ employment channels, bridge the “last mile” from campus to enterprise, and build a direct platform for students’ high-quality employment.
Second, integrate high-quality employment resources in the Shanghai area, and rely on the industrial cluster advantages of the Yangtze River Delta to provide students with broader career development space.
Third, rely on deep alignment between government science parks and industry needs to promote the substantive construction of the industry college and form an education pattern integrating industry, academia, research, and application.
Fourth, build an industry-college delivery base, and systematically advance through directions such as jointly building talent cultivation plans and reciprocal appointment and exchange of faculty for training, so as to improve the quality of applied-talent cultivation.
Fifth, rely on the tripartite collaboration mechanism of government, enterprise, and school to do a good job in expanding the industry college, and gradually extend into education fields such as enterprise training, building a sustainable industry-education integration ecosystem.
Subsequently, the unveiling ceremony of the iSoftStone Digital-Intelligent Industry College was held. Chairwoman Yang Ping and President Lin Tao jointly unveiled the plaque for the industry college, marking the formal establishment of the iSoftStone Digital-Intelligent Industry College.
Next, the two sides will use the industry college as an important carrier to further deepen industry-education integration and gradually implement the various cooperation items. Relying on iSoftStone Education’s deep industry resources and technological advantages, and combining them with its own educational and teaching characteristics, the College will jointly explore new pathways and models for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talent in the digital-intelligent era, providing strong talent support and intellectual backing for the high-quality development of the regional economy and industrial transformation and upgrading. The establishment of the iSoftStone Digital-Intelligent Industry College is an important milestone in the College’s advancement of industry-education integration and deepening of school-enterprise cooperation, and will surely inject new impetus into the College’s efforts to raise its educational level and enhance its social service capacity.
