As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes every industry, and to deepen industry-education integration and help upgrade the capabilities of enterprise talent, on August 4, Xue Fei, Director of the Publicity Department of the College, at the invitation of China Unicom Dalian Xigang Branch, delivered a special "AI Empowerment Training" session, using the power of technology to empower the high-quality development of the enterprise.

At the training session
Technology Empowerment · Igniting the Front Line
At the training session, Director Xue Fei gave a systematic introduction to the current state of AI development and shared the College's latest achievements in digital transformation and the advancement of AI applications. Centered on the two core themes of "Agent Technology and Applications" and "Hands-on Practice with Digital Employees," the training began with the basic use of mainstream AI platforms and gradually guided participants toward agent-based approaches. Drawing on China Unicom's real business scenarios and using typical cases across multiple dimensions, Director Xue Fei vividly demonstrated how AI enters daily office work—from automated document processing and one-click generation of data dashboards to the rapid setup of work planning boards. The tangible, implementable live demonstrations gave China Unicom colleagues a fresh experience and a new understanding of "digital employees" as a new type of work partner.

Joint Cultivation by College and Enterprise · Enthusiastic Response
"I used to think AI was far away from us, but this time I learned that so many repetitive tasks can actually be handed over to 'digital employees' to complete," participating colleagues said one after another. This was their first real contact with agent technology, and the efficiency leap it brings has "subverted" traditional work models, opening new ideas for everyone to use AI to re-engineer their business. After the session, Wang Junwu, General Manager of China Unicom Dalian Xigang Branch, presented a letter of appointment to Director Xue Fei, formally engaging Xue Fei as a "China Unicom AI Distinguished Lecturer" on behalf of China Unicom Dalian. The two sides will continue to deepen cooperation in areas such as AI talent cultivation and the co-development of business scenarios.

Lifelong Learning · Responsibility of the Era
In the AI era, lifelong learning has become an inevitable choice for professionals. Following the earlier "Alumni Return-to-Campus AI Empowerment Advanced Training Camp," the College's visit to the enterprise to conduct empowerment training is another vivid practice of the "in-service sustainable-upskilling training model" that the College has launched for enterprises and their employees—providing a clear, sustainable growth path for in-service employees eager to keep "upgrading" themselves.
Looking ahead, the College will continue to leverage its accumulated strengths and advantages in AI education and agent applications, proactively shoulder its social responsibility to serve regional industrial upgrading and empower lifelong learning, help more enterprises and individuals find their direction and grow continuously in the AI era, and contribute the wisdom and strength of vocational education to high-quality development.
