To further deepen industry-education integration, advance school-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation, and effectively connect the education chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain with industrial development needs, Yang Ping, Chair of the Board of Xinyang Shengye International Education Holdings (Dalian) Co., Ltd. and Chair of the College; Yang Jie, Deputy Party Secretary and President of the College; Gao Chenglin, Executive Vice President; and Alex, General Manager of Xinyang Shengye International Education Holdings (Dalian) Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the College, led a delegation to Dalian Yihai Packaging Co., Ltd. for an on-site visit and research. They toured the production plant to observe the company's production and operations, and held a school-enterprise symposium.
Accompanied by the company's representatives, the visiting team went deep into the production plant, inspecting on-site the production workshops, process flows, and R&D supporting facilities. They learned in detail about Dalian Yihai Packaging's development history, main business, technological R&D strength, current production and operation status, and future development plans, observing modern production workflows up close and experiencing the company's digital production management model firsthand.
After the tour, the two sides held a symposium. At the meeting, the College introduced its educational positioning, program cluster development, talent cultivation model, and the layout of its industry-education integration work. It highlighted the construction plan for the Phase II Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park at the Qidingshan Campus, which will build an industry-education integration carrier integrating R&D, production, and scientific research, establishing a school-enterprise co-construction and sharing platform to attract high-quality real-economy enterprises to settle in the park, thereby deeply integrating the company's production and operations and technology R&D with the College's talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, and student practical training and internships.
Representatives of Yihai Packaging warmly welcomed the Maple Leaf Vocational College delegation, introducing the company's technological advantages, job talent needs, and industrial upgrading direction, and fully acknowledging the College's educational achievements and its approach to industry-education integration. The two sides conducted pragmatic consultations on the company's settlement in the Phase II Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park at the Qidingshan Campus, and held in-depth discussions on multiple directions including enterprise landing in the park, co-building practical training platforms, joint technology R&D, order-based talent cultivation, student internships and employment, and two-way talent exchange, exchanging cooperation ideas and initially reaching cooperation intentions.
Chair Yang Ping stated that the development of vocational education cannot be separated from industrial empowerment. The Phase II Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park at the Qidingshan Campus is designed to bring high-quality industry enterprises into the campus and the park, moving company production lines and R&D projects onto campus, so as to truly realize the implementation of industry-education integration rather than superficial cooperation. She expressed hope that the two sides will take this visit as an opportunity to identify the right entry points for cooperation, advance project implementation, and achieve complementary school-enterprise resources and win-win cooperation.
The College stated that it looks forward to further refining the cooperation plan with Dalian Yihai Packaging, advancing the company's settlement in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, and relying on the park platform to open up an integrated 'R&D–production–research–education' pathway — transforming the company's real production projects and technical topics into teaching content, so that students can develop skills and abilities in real production environments, delivering high-quality technical and skilled talents to regional industries.
