To deepen cross-regional exchanges and cooperation within the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA), learn from each other's advanced experience in developing vocational education, and explore new pathways for industry-education integration in talent cultivation in the new era, on August 26, accompanied and led by Wang Ye, full-time Deputy Chairperson and Secretary-General of the CNDCA Dalian Municipal Committee, more than 30 CNDCA core members from Chongqing — led by Wang Xinke, Secretary-General of the CNDCA Chongqing Municipal Committee — visited Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology for an on-site inspection and observation exchange.

Gao Chenglin, Executive Vice President of the College, and Alex, General Manager of the Group, accompanied and received the delegation throughout the visit, and conveyed the sincere greetings and warm welcome of Yang Ping, Chairperson of the College, who was away on official business.

The delegation first visited the College's AI Teaching Equipment Hall, conducting a comprehensive and immersive review of the College's distinctive schooling model and educational achievements, with a particular focus on observing the modern practical-training teaching system supporting the College's eight industry colleges. The hall is fully equipped with various high-end hands-on operation equipment and smart teaching facilities, fully demonstrating the College's advanced schooling philosophy of 'building colleges around industries, aligning majors with industries, and integrating teaching into job positions.' The guests gained a detailed understanding of the College's schooling model of deepening industry-education integration and jointly cultivating talent with enterprises based on its eight industry colleges plus one center, and spoke highly of the College's solid capabilities in grounding its education in job demands, delivering substantive hands-on teaching, and seamlessly connecting the teaching process with production processes.

Subsequently, the delegation moved to the Carbon Neutrality · Green Innovation Future Hall to experience the College's distinctive competency-based education system first-hand. Focusing on green development and low-carbon science and technology innovation, the hall integrates ecological-civilization education and innovation-practice education into daily educational activities, and cultivates students' green innovative thinking and sense of social responsibility through immersive and experiential teaching, fully demonstrating the College's diversified and distinctive educational framework.

Finally, the delegation visited the History Museum of the China Vocational Education Association (CVEA). As the College's core venue for carrying forward the heritage of vocational education and innovating smart education, the museum deeply integrates a century of vocational-education history and culture with AI-powered digital intelligent display technology, breaking away from the static exhibition model of traditional museums. Through innovative forms such as digital interaction, intelligent scene reconstruction, and smart presentation of historical materials, it systematically combs the essence of Mr. Huang Yanpei's vocational-education thought and vividly interprets the century-long development of vocational education in China, making vocational-education history perceptible, its spirit inheritable, and its culture renewable. The guests highly praised the College's innovative measures of deeply integrating traditional vocational-education culture with modern AI technology, practicing Huang Yanpei's educational spirit, and empowering vocational-education cultural education through digitalization.

Throughout the visit and exchange, the CNDCA guests from both cities repeatedly marveled at the College's well-established education model that integrates production and education and connects learning with job positions. They highly affirmed that the College truly achieves the practical effect of guaranteeing students employment security upon enrollment, and were deeply impressed by the College's original closed-loop education model of 'stepping out of the classroom into the factory, and returning to the classroom with questions in hand.' They commended the College for truly breaking out of the traditional teaching framework, turning industrial sites into teaching classrooms and integrating job demands into talent cultivation, thus genuinely applying knowledge through learning and promoting learning through application, so that vocational education delivers real results and empowers students' high-quality employment and growth.

This cross-regional observation and exchange between the CNDCA organizations of Chongqing and Dalian built a high-quality platform for the democratic parties of the north and south to learn from and inspire each other and to share and jointly advance vocational-education experience. In the future, Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology will continue to deepen its industry-education integration reform by relying on its eight industry colleges, consistently empower vocational education with technology and nurture talent through culture, continuously polish its distinctive vocational-education brand, constantly enhance its educational substance and talent-cultivation quality, and strive to write a new chapter of high-quality vocational-education development in the new era.
