On August 31, the military training for the Class of 2026 freshmen at the Daheishi Campus officially kicked off. After the opening ceremony, each college, keeping in step with the training rhythm, successively organized a series of activities such as singing military songs, fun ice-breaking, and character-development exercises. Amid a blend of sweat and laughter, the freshmen were given a meaningful "first lesson of university."

Joyful Military Training, Strength Gathered in Youth

One Loop Through · United and Collaborative

During breaks in the military training, the training ground of the Medical Care Industry College was filled with jubilation. In the "One Loop Through" activity, participants joined hands to form a large circle while a hula hoop nimbly passed through their linked arms. Twisting waists, raising arms, lowering heads, and turning sideways—the moves were hilarious and varied, drawing waves of laughter. Shouts, cheers, and laughter rose and fell in succession, sweeping away the fatigue of training.

Drop the Handkerchief · Releasing Pressure with Joy

"Drop the Handkerchief" also got off to a lively start. The students sat in a circle; the one being chased ran hard around the ring, while the chaser pursued with full energy and determination. The seated students clapped and cheered, mixing laughter, applause, and playful teasing into one. Some were "caught" the moment they sat down before they even realized what was happening; the whole training ground was filled with cheerful shouts, and everyone had a blast.

Maple Leaves United · Together in Youth

The Smart City Service Industry College carefully prepared fun ice-breaking team-building activities, and the students eagerly took part in the games. Everyone cooperated by dividing tasks and reminding one another, shaking off the fatigue of training amid relaxed competition. The activities brought hearts closer, enhanced communication, fostered a sense of teamwork, and built class cohesion, helping the little maple leaves integrate into the group more quickly.

Maple Soaring with Martial Spirit · Singing the Strong-Army Red Songs

During breaks from training, the Smart City College organized the freshmen to sing "Battle Song of a Strong Army" together. The students sat together in high spirits, and the resounding singing echoed through the rest area. The bright melody eased the fatigue of training and lifted morale, allowing everyone to feel the spirit of building a strong military and cultivate patriotism through the songs, temper their resolute character, and continuously strengthen their sense of collective honor and class cohesion.

The setting sun gilded the training ground with a warm golden light, and the sea breeze brushed across one resolute youthful face after another as the first day of military training drew to a close amid singing and laughter. The instructors' commands, the teachers' exhortations, and the students' shouts merged into a moving melody on the early-autumn campus. May the Class of 2026 always keep this enthusiasm, temper their will and refine their character in the military training to come, let their youth grow freely alongside the camouflage, and set forth toward their own bright futures.
