To promote the fine tradition of respecting teachers and valuing education, and to genuinely care for the physical and mental health of faculty and staff, on the occasion of the 42nd Teachers' Day, the Party Branch of the Medical and Nursing Industry College launched a heartwarming service-themed activity. The college specially invited expert Zhai Qian from The Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University to visit our school and carry out a "Teachers' Day Warmth" health education and acupuncture free-clinic public welfare activity. Some students majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Technology observed and learned on site, achieving an organic combination of Party-building service for teachers and practical teaching.

This activity was successfully held on the afternoon of September 9 in the Health & Wellness Training Room. The activity was divided into two major sections: health knowledge popularization education and on-site acupuncture free-clinic. Expert Zhai Qian comes from a family of Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, has a solid foundation in acupuncture science, has been deeply engaged in clinical practice for more than ten years, integrates traditional acupuncture and herbal medicine techniques with modern rehabilitation medicine systems, and is good at carrying out individualized conditioning for common sub-health problems of teachers such as neck and shoulder strain, insomnia and fatigue, and physical constitution imbalance.

In the health education session, the expert focused on common sub-health problems in the teaching profession, and gave detailed explanations from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation on daily health conditioning, meridian maintenance, and emotional regulation. Combining real clinical cases, the expert popularized practical Traditional Chinese Medicine health-care knowledge. In the audience, not only faculty and staff of our school listened attentively, but also students majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Technology attended the lecture. The students carefully recorded key points, observed the expert's consultation, syndrome differentiation thinking, and acupuncture operation process up close, and combined classroom theory with real clinical scenarios to broaden their professional horizons.

After the education session, the acupuncture free-clinic officially began. Teachers who came for consultation and experience came in an endless stream. Dr. Zhai Qian patiently inquired about each teacher's physical condition, conducted inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiry, and pulse-taking, and gave personalized conditioning suggestions for problems such as neck and shoulder soreness, poor sleep, and qi-blood imbalance. She also provided acupuncture physiotherapy services and carefully answered various health questions raised by teachers. The on-site atmosphere was warm and orderly. Teachers expressed that this free-clinic activity closely matched the daily work reality of teachers, allowed them to learn a lot of practical health-preservation knowledge, and made them truly feel the care and warmth from the college Party Branch.

This heartwarming service activity of the Party Branch not only sent a special Teachers' Day health gift to faculty and staff, but also built a valuable practical learning platform for students majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Technology. In the next step, the Party Branch of the Medical and Nursing Industry College will continue to give full play to the leading role of Party building, put serving the people into practice, continuously carry out various forms of heartwarming activities, and at the same time deepen professional practical teaching, promote learning through practice, and achieve coordinated development of Party building, faculty care, and talent cultivation.
