To deliver a good first lesson of the new semester, the School of Marxism organized all ideological and political teachers to conduct collective lesson preparation for the first lesson. In accordance with the plan, all ideological and political teachers actively went deep into the secondary colleges to take part in freshmen induction education. At the Smart City Service Industry College, an ideological and political teacher gave the freshmen a Party-membership enlightenment education themed 'Why I Want to Join the Party,' guiding the young students, from the very start of enrollment, to fasten the 'first button' of their thinking and ignite their political enthusiasm to draw close to the Party. They took the initiative to enter the Nursing Industry College, joining the freshmen on study tours to the Lüshun Russo-Japanese Prison Site and the Lüshun Museum, turning the red venues into ideological and political classrooms and using historical relics and precious artifacts to explain to the freshmen the historical logic and contemporary responsibility of 'where we come from and where we are going.'

It completed the recording of the series of micro-lectures 'From the Century-old History Hall to the New Journey of a Strong Nation — Understanding the Maple Leaf Vocational College Party Members' Mission in the Red History of Vocational Education,' a course that, using the China Vocational Education Association History Hall as its carrier, reviews the glorious journey of vocational-education pioneers in serving the country through industry and explains the mission of new-era vocational-education students. Ideological and political teachers gave on-site explanations in the history hall, guiding the freshmen to feel, in looking back at history, the original aspiration of serving the country through vocational education, and to firm up, in the immersion of the on-site setting, the ambition of serving the country through skills.
