In the golden month of October, youth is at its best. With the club recruitment drive successfully completed, our college has selected 12 featured clubs to settle into the activity base, and the renovation and renewal project of the Daheishi Campus Student Club Activity Center is progressing in an orderly manner.

University Leaders Visit to Guide, with Cordial Care and High Expectations for Education

On October 10, Yang Ping, Chair of the Board of the group and the college, and Yang Jie, President of the college, visited the Daheishi Campus to inspect and guide the construction of the Student Club Activity Center. The university leaders walked through the various club activity rooms, listened to reports, and chatted warmly with students, affirming the center’s renovation and renewal work, and put forward expectations for club-based education, pointing the way for follow-up work.

A Month of Careful Preparation, from Renewal to Revival

The Student Affairs Department (Youth League Committee), adhering to a student-centered and education-oriented approach, invited students to participate in the spatial design, broadly collecting club members’ opinions on spatial layout, functional zoning, facility support, and atmosphere creation, and coordinating the upgrade and construction of the club activity center. The 12 selected featured clubs cover areas such as cultural inheritance, interest development, public-welfare practice, and innovation and entrepreneurship. We look forward to building a vibrant club base that carries students’ passions and helps the youth grow.

Featured Clubs in the Spotlight: Letting Passion Shine

The club activity rooms are not only places for students to conduct activities, but also spiritual homes for colliding ideas, sparking creativity, and tempering character. The atmosphere of each activity room is being steadily arranged, with each room taking on its own character and distinct features beginning to emerge. Among them, the Pet Club, featuring healing companionship with cute animals, focuses on life education, civilized pet-keeping, and caring protection; its room is carefully arranged around the theme of caring for small animals, and will launch popular-science sharing and other themed activities in the future, winning particular affection from everyone. Space is the carrier; education is the core. Every activity and every work from now on will become the growth rings of this place.

The club base belongs to the youth and serves the youth. Relying on the brand-new club activity center, our college will continue to promote the regular holding of club activities and the project-based construction of the second classroom, explore the digital upgrade of activity management, and constantly enrich the supply of campus culture. At present, the preparation of the club activity center is progressing steadily and awaiting its opening; we look forward to students releasing their youthful vitality here and writing the campus chapter that belongs to Maple Leaf.
