To continuously deepen the special initiative of "visiting enterprises to expand job opportunities and promote employment," earnestly implement the graduate employment tracking service, precisely grasp the real state of students’ corporate internships and employment, clear the bottlenecks and difficulties in students’ workplace growth, and effectively safeguard high-quality and stable graduate employment, recently President Yang Jie of our college led a team deep into Yishun Precision (Dalian Yishun Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) for an on-site visit and research. Face to face, they met students interning and working there, learned about their work status up close, and listened to their needs and troubles in a down-to-earth way, identifying and addressing their difficulties.
During the visit, a relevant person in charge of Yishun Precision warmly welcomed our college’s visiting team and gave a detailed introduction to the company’s production and operation status, the prospects of the precision manufacturing industry, the standards for positions and talent demand, as well as its systems for employee training, promotion, and living guarantees. The company fully affirmed the comprehensive quality of our students, reporting that those on the job are disciplined, quick to get up to speed, and diligent and willing to work, able to rapidly adapt to the company’s production rhythm and job requirements, and demonstrating solid professional grounding and professionalism at work.
During the visit, President Yang Jie held a group discussion with our college’s interning and employed student representatives in the company’s meeting room. The president talked with the students cordially and communicated in depth, asking in detail about their daily work, how they were adapting to their posts, and what they had gained from improving their skills, with a focus on carefully identifying the various practical difficulties and confusions the students had encountered since joining the company in their work, workplace adaptation, and daily living. In response to the questions and needs raised, President Yang Jie patiently answered, reassured, and soothed them one by one on the spot, and carefully took notes, so as to truly understand the students’ real situation and precisely grasp their actual difficulties.
President Yang Jie urged all students on the job to cherish the company’s quality practice platform, learn humbly from the masters at the company, take root in their posts to accumulate hands-on experience, and apply the professional knowledge learned at school to practical work, constantly honing their professional skills and enhancing their career competitiveness.
