On September 23, the Dalian Geriatric Nursing Collaborative Development Alliance of Dalian Friendship Hospital and the Dalian Geriatric Medicine Center was officially inaugurated. The Medical and Nursing Industry College of Dalian Maple Leaf College of Technology was successfully selected as a member of the alliance's first cohort.

Dalian has now entered a deeply aging society, and the gap of professional geriatric nursing talent continues to widen. Led by Dalian Friendship Hospital, the alliance brings together 35 institutions across the city, including tertiary Grade-A hospitals, primary healthcare institutions, and senior-care organizations. The alliance is committed to promoting the homogenization of geriatric nursing techniques, continuity of services, standardization of quality control, and systematic talent cultivation, so as to comprehensively raise the overall level of geriatric nursing services in Dalian.
This successful admission to the alliance is the industry's full affirmation of our college's strength in running the nursing program, the quality of talent cultivation, and our social-service capability. Next, the Medical and Nursing Industry College will rely on the alliance's high-quality clinical resources and industry platform to continuously deepen the integration of jobs, courses, competitions, and certifications, as well as medical-education collaboration and industry-education integration; benchmarking against the new standards, technologies, and norms of clinical geriatric nursing posts, it will dynamically optimize the talent-cultivation plan and curriculum system.

In daily teaching and training, the college will focus on honing students' clinical thinking, hands-on skills, and humanistic care literacy, striving to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled nursing professionals suited to the development of Dalian's senior-care industry and meeting the needs of clinical posts, and continuously contributing Maple Leaf's strength to improving Dalian's geriatric nursing services and the development of the regional health and elderly-care industry.
