To deepen the coordinated development of vocational education in the new era, build a high-level exchange platform for mutual learning and joint progress across provincial vocational education, and give full play to the demonstrative and radiating role of high-quality vocational education resources, on October 20, a delegation of trainees from the National Teacher Training Program traveled across provinces to visit the Medical and Nursing Industry College of Dalian Maple Leaf Vocational & Technical College for a special observation, study tour, and in-depth exchange activity.

Relying on our college's years of deep cultivation in medical, nursing, and elderly-care vocational education, as well as its proven strength in repeatedly hosting provincial and municipal vocational skills competitions, this National Teacher Training delegation made a special cross-provincial visit to benchmark and learn from our college's distinctive experiences in program development, practical training and education, Party-building leadership, competition cultivation, and industry-education integration, launching a high-level, in-depth cross-provincial vocational-education study dialogue.

The delegation went deep into the college's core educational venues for on-site observation, with a key focus on a 17,000-square-meter standardized comprehensive training center. With scientific planning and complete layout, the center is divided into three core functional zones and equipped with 53 standardized professional training rooms, fully covering core teaching scenarios such as nursing, rehabilitation, smart elderly care, and medical-technology training. Its hardware configuration meets frontier industry standards, realizing integrated education spanning teaching practice, skills competitions, on-the-job operation, and social service, and comprehensively demonstrating our college's large-scale, standardized, and professional strength in practical training and education.

Subsequently, the delegation entered the Bethune Party-Building Activity Room for an immersive observation of our college's Party-building position construction achievements. With the red Bethune spirit as its educational core, the college deeply integrates Party-building leadership with professional education, teacher ethics, and student ideological education, creating a distinctive Party-building education brand. Guided by "Party-building red" leading "vocational-education blue," it has built a multi-dimensional education system of "Party building + education + competitions + service," allowing the delegation to deeply feel our college's distinct characteristics of fostering virtue through education and empowering vocational development with Party building.

After the observation, Wang Shan, Assistant to the President of Dalian Maple Leaf Vocational & Technical College and Dean of the Medical and Nursing Industry College, delivered a special sharing session and a report on the college's educational achievements to all National Teacher Training trainees. She systematically introduced the college's educational positioning, professional cluster development, the "post-course-competition-certificate" integrated education model, dual-qualified faculty development, experience in hosting provincial and municipal competitions, innovative industry-education integration measures, and talent cultivation outcomes. At the same time, in light of the development trend of medical, nursing, and elderly-care vocational education, she shared in depth our college's practical pathways and mature experience in upgrading training bases, reforming teaching and innovation, cultivating student skills, and transforming provincial competition achievements. Teacher Wu Ting gave a special sharing on the development of the "Smart Healthy Elderly Care Service and Management" major and the "Rehabilitation Skills Micro-major," explaining in detail from the aspects of the micro-major's curriculum structure, training arrangements, talent cultivation positioning, and distinctive educational pathways, showcasing our college's reform exploration of expanding compound-skill cultivation for the new forms of the elderly-care industry.

During the exchange, the National Teacher Training trainees, combining the characteristics of vocational education and teaching pain points from their respective regions, conducted in-depth discussions on key tasks such as professional curriculum reform, improving practical training and teaching, enhancing dual-qualified capabilities, cultivating skills competitions, and integrating Party-building and ideological education into teaching - sharing advanced experiences, jointly solving educational challenges, and exploring development pathways together. The delegation highly praised our college's high-standard training construction, refined teaching management, distinctive Party-building education, and abundant competition achievements, considering this cross-provincial observation rich in content and highly instructive, providing an excellent reference template for their subsequent program development and teaching reform.

This cross-provincial study exchange of the National Teacher Training Program is a powerful demonstration of our college's educational influence and radiating role, and an important opportunity for the mutual exchange, complementarity, and win-win cooperation of vocational education resources across provinces. In the future, the Medical and Nursing Industry College of Dalian Maple Leaf Vocational & Technical College will continue to meet the development needs of the big health industry, deepen its commitment to the medical, nursing, and elderly-care vocational education track, continuously consolidate the foundation of practical training and education, deepen education and teaching reform, and polish its competition-education brand. It will continuously strengthen cross-provincial vocational-education exchange and collaboration, empower the high-quality development of vocational education with high-quality schooling, and cultivate more high-quality, skilled, and application-oriented talents for the elderly-care industry.
