The Moment of Two Golds

On the racecourse, one person and one board
Stand-up paddleboarding is a sport of standing on the water, with the paddle as one's wings.
What it tests has never been merely physical strength. The 3 km long-distance race is a contest of endurance and pace — a conversation with oneself across a long stretch of water; the 200 m short-distance race is a test of explosive power and composure — a full sprint at the moment of start.
One long and one short, one still and one dynamic — these are precisely the two poles that make this sport the hardest to balance. Yet Yu Bingxi claimed both gold medals at once.

Behind the Two Golds Lies Invisible Perseverance
The ease on the water comes from perseverance beneath it.
The lake at dawn, the scorching sun of midsummer, falling into the water again and again only to climb back onto the board. No 'effortless mastery' is not honed from 'clenching one's teeth and persevering.' On the course, he stands on his board, upright and poised, with a determined gaze; that confidence written in the spray is the composure built up little by little through day-after-day training.
This is exactly the image our campus most wants to convey — passion, perseverance, and transcendence.
Educating Through Sport, Forging Will Through Competition
Sport is the finest classroom for growth.
Yu Bingxi's two gold medals are not only a personal honor, but also a vivid reflection of the fruits of the College's holistic education that integrates the 'Five Educations' (moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education). The College will continue to build stages for students to showcase themselves, encouraging more students to step onto the playground, onto the competitive field, and into a broader world, strengthening their bodies, tempering their will, and gaining growth through sport.
Let Us Cheer for Him Together
'Above the blue waves, the youth shall stand tall.' Warm congratulations to Yu Bingxi! We salute all students who strive on the field of competition!
