On October 11, the second leg of the quarterfinals of the 2026 3rd Liaoning Provincial City Football League, also serving as the 2027 "Northeast Super League" (Liaoning Division) Qualification Tournament, kicked off at the Dalian Suoyuwan Football Stadium. The Dalian team faced the Benxi team in a fierce contest for a spot in the final four, and in the end the Benxi team defeated the Dalian team 1–0.

On the green pitch, players ran and made tackles, transitions between attack and defense unfolding rapidly, every challenge gripping the heart. Cheers and chants rose and fell in waves from the stands. Our students, now spectators at the match, immersed themselves in the unique passion and charm of competitive sports. They observed order, watched civically, and demonstrated the fine spirit and demeanor of Maple Leaf students.

This on-site match-viewing activity took students out of campus to experience the fighting spirit of football up close, to feel the power of perseverance and striving through watching the game, to enrich their extracurricular cultural life, and to deepen their love for sports. In the future, the college will continue to organize various cultural and sports practice activities, guiding students to actively experience the charm of sports and to forge an uplifting and positive youthful character.
