Deepening Connotation-Oriented Development, Advancing the "Three Education" Reform —Our College Conducts Golden Course Construction Training

To implement the important spirit of documents such as the Implementation Plan for National Vocational Education Reform and the Action Plan for Improving the Quality and Excellence of Vocational Education (2020-2023), deepen educational and teaching reform, and promote the high-quality advancement of Golden Course construction in the college, the Academic Affairs and Research Office organized a college-level Golden Course Construction Training Meeting on the afternoon of November 15. Teaching management deputy directors from various teaching units and heads of college-level Golden Course construction projects attended the meeting. Zhang Yu, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs and Research Office, presided over the meeting.

Deputy Director Zhang Yu provided an in-depth interpretation of relevant national requirements for higher education curriculum construction around core questions of Golden Course construction: "Why build? How to build? What effects to achieve?" emphasizing the central role of curriculum in the talent cultivation process. Through analysis of curriculum construction standards and evaluation indicators, he introduced in detail the key points for writing Golden Course application documents. He encouraged teachers to adhere to the concept of "student development-centered," deeply understand the connotation of "high-order, innovative, and challenging" (the "Two Characteristics and One Degree") in Golden Course construction, strengthen deep cooperation with enterprises, leverage the combined strength of curriculum teams, continuously optimize curriculum resources, and practically apply curriculum construction achievements to teaching practice.


Through this meeting, curriculum leaders gained a deeper understanding of the connotation and construction standards of Golden Courses. They fully recognized that curriculum construction is an important grasp of talent cultivation, must comprehensively connect with vocational job requirements, and comprehensively cultivate students' technical skills, innovative spirit, and sustainable development capabilities. Various curriculum construction teams will closely connect with enterprises around key links of talent cultivation, deeply collaborate, build consensus, construct Golden Courses with high quality, and contribute more wisdom and strength to students' growth and development.


For a long time, the college has actively faced new requirements posed by new business forms and new positions for vocational education through the "Three Education" reform (reform of teachers, teaching materials, and teaching methods). In the next stage, the college will continue to deeply advance Golden Course construction, building a batch of high-quality, innovative, and challenging online-offline blended Golden Courses, continuously deepen the college's connotation-oriented development, and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents for society.
