Professor Shi Yongchuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College of Wenzhou University, led the reception team. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on multi-field cooperation. During the visit, the delegation also had face-to-face communications with several entrepreneurial alumni of Wenzhou University, jointly exploring pathways for innovative practice and reaching a series of consensuses.
As a national-level innovation and entrepreneurship college, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College of Wenzhou University is rooted in the fertile soil of Wenzhou's "business-revering culture" and guided by the "Four-Thousand Spirit," having constructed a distinctive entrepreneurship education model. It also serves as the secretariat unit of the China-US Young Maker Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education, achieving remarkable accomplishments in international innovative exchange and curriculum system development. As Deputy Secretary-General of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, Dean Shi Yongchuan has been deeply engaged in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education for many years, presiding over the construction of national first-class courses and proposing the "Five-Education Integration" talent cultivation concept for innovation and entrepreneurship education. The educational model of "deep integration of theory and practice" developed by his team enjoys high reputation in the industry. During the visit, accompanied by Dean Shi Yongchuan, the college leadership delegation visited venues including the Wenzhou University Maker Space and entrepreneurship practical training bases, gaining detailed understanding of their mature experience in platform operation, project incubation, and competition cultivation. They spoke highly of the multi-dimensional collaborative entrepreneurship education ecosystem encompassing "university, enterprise, government, industry, finance, intermediary, and innovation."

During the symposium exchanges, both sides focused on core topics for in-depth discussions. Regarding innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum development, Dean Shi Yongchuan shared Wenzhou University's experience in constructing a curriculum system integrating professional education and entrepreneurship education, including the development of national first-class undergraduate courses, stratified and categorized curriculum design, and the practical implementation of "project-based learning." Our college introduced its experience in developing practical training courses and university-industry collaborative teaching accumulated through the Maple Leaf Maker Space. Both sides reached cooperative intentions for sharing curriculum resources and learning from each other's teaching methods.

Regarding China-US young maker exchanges, as the secretariat unit of the China-US Young Maker Exchange Center, Wenzhou University's team led by Dean Shi Yongchuan systematically introduced their experience in building international exchange platforms and organizing cross-national maker projects. Both sides unanimously agreed to leverage Wenzhou University's international resources and our college's maker cultivation foundation to jointly conduct maker exchange camps, cross-national project incubation, and other activities, helping faculty and students expand their international innovation horizons.
During the visit, our college team specially engaged in exchanges with several outstanding entrepreneurial alumni of Wenzhou University. The alumni shared practical insights based on their personal experiences, providing vivid teaching materials for innovation and entrepreneurship education and further strengthening the direction of inter-institutional cooperation and industry-education integration. Additionally, both sides reached consensus on establishing long-term cooperation mechanisms between the two institutions, clearly defining regular cooperation in areas such as faculty exchange and training, innovation and entrepreneurship competition coordination, and joint construction of student practice bases.

This research visit yielded both top-tier innovation and entrepreneurship education theories and methods as well as valuable experience from alumni entrepreneurial practice, providing dual reference points for the development of our college's innovation and entrepreneurship education. Following this, taking the cooperative consensus as a starting point, the college will promote the international alignment and industry integration of its innovation and entrepreneurship education, contributing to the cultivation of high-quality innovative talent.
